Here you will find frequently asked questions. If you have any further questions, contact us and we will take care of it.
General
Will I receive any documents or more detailed information after registration?
After registration you will receive an email with a booking confirmation. All important information about the booked training, such as the exact schedule, will be sent to you about 1 week before the training.
The right tire choice indoors?
Opinions differ here. We recommend the following tires for our trainings: Heidenau K58 Snowtex or the IRC SN26 Snow Urban.
Does the training take place in any weather?
Yes. The winter training takes place on the indoor kart track even in rain and snow.
Is there a technical check-in?
Yes, we check that the start numbers and the group sticker are attached correctly and clearly visible. We assume that your motorcycle is roadworthy and the rider is responsible for this: everything must be secured, nothing may leak, the brakes must work, treaded tires must have sufficient tread... You are welcome to write or call us in advance if you are unsure. We will also check your motorcycles on site.
I have never been or only once on the racetrack and I am unsure. Is the training still suitable?
That is exactly what our beginner training is for. Here we first work out your existing resources with you. This way you "experience" your personal comfortable pace, following the motto "EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE – NOTHING IS MANDATORY". This happens at road speed, in small groups of max. 5 people. Afterwards, in each training session (session: continuous riding time of 15 or 20 minutes on the track), you are shown what you should change and how it is done.
Is racing on the racetrack mandatory?
NO! Our offer "Racetrack beginner training" is not aimed at racers! Especially with us, the beginner group is about getting to know your motorcycle and yourself in order to gain safety and confidence. Whether you ride on the road or want to ride fast laps on the racetrack – the required basics are always the same.
What protective clothing do I need?
The following protective equipment is mandatory! – Leather suit with protectors (textile is not permitted for safety reasons) o 1 and 2 piece permitted – Motorcycle boots that go over the suit (no shoes) – Motorcycle gloves that go over the suit – Knee sliders (strongly recommended) – Back protector – Full-face helmet (no cross helmet)
What about the noise level?
Some racetracks have a noise limit. With an original exhaust you usually have no problems. If you have a racing exhaust fitted, a sensible DB eater should be in your luggage. In Rijeka there is currently no DB limit. But without a DB eater it is already very loud 😉
Am I insured during the training?
Participation is at your own risk! A corresponding liability waiver must be signed by every participant before the course begins (participation requirement). The insurance policies taken out on the participant's motorcycle, such as liability, partial comprehensive and comprehensive insurance, apply during the training.
Behaviour at the event?
Please behave during the entire event in such a way that other participants are not endangered by your behaviour.
Does the training take place in any weather?
In principle yes, rain is not a safety problem during lean angle training. You will be amazed at what the bike is still capable of even in the rain.
Is there catering or do I need to bring something myself?
At all our trainings we provide you with drinks and snacks. At Groß Dölln you can additionally book full board. This then includes breakfast as well as lunch and dinner.
Can I watch a training before signing up for one?
You are welcome to come and watch a training of your choice as a spectator. However, if we are at a racetrack, please inform yourself on the respective homepage about the applicable rules or contact us beforehand.
Should I take part with my own motorcycle?
No! We provide specially modified motorcycles. If you wish, you may ride the exercises with your own motorcycle at the end at your own risk.
What level of physical fitness is required?
Average fitness is perfectly sufficient. You do not have to be able to run a marathon.
What protective clothing do I need?
Mandatory is: leather suit including back protector (one-piece or two-piece). Boots and gloves that go over the suit. Knee sliders are recommended.
From what age can you ride?
With a signed declaration of consent from the age of 14.
Is our training also suitable for beginners?
Yes, absolutely. Beginners can also ride with us and have fun. The prerequisite, however, is that you can safely handle a motorcycle and have the basic knowledge such as shifting, clutch, etc.
When and how does the group division take place?
The group division takes place at registration. We have already divided you up in advance. If a group does not fit, we will regroup during the event.
Which fuel must be used?
At our events only ASPEN or HERCUTEC may be used. This is particularly about the health of our team and our participants as well as YOU.
How does an event proceed?
Registration takes place directly after entry. It is best to have the liability waiver already filled out with you. Then registration is quick. After registration, the riders briefing takes place and then it starts. We are available at any time for questions, tips & tricks.
Can I take part with any motorcycle?
In principle, yes! It only has to be roadworthy so that nobody is endangered. Naked bikes, tourers, supermotos, sport bikes, supersport bikes and racing motorcycles are regularly with us. Only choppers and enduros with off-road tires or fitted panniers are not allowed.
Do I have to pay extra for the coaching?
NO! The following services are included in the beginner training – entry fee – box space – small snacks and water – all other necessary bookings – incl. all instructor & additional services
Do I have to modify anything on my motorcycle?
No. Modifying would be too much to say. Some things have to be taped over, such as mirrors, headlights, indicators. If mirrors and number plate can simply be unscrewed, then take them off. We are happy to help. – We have tape, and you will find out exactly what needs to be taped over at registration or at the technical check-in. We support you before the first sessions so that you can go out and have fun without worry.
Does the training take place with my own motorcycle?
Yes, you complete the training with your own motorcycle. You are also responsible for ensuring that your motorcycle is in technically sound condition.
Who is the training suitable for?
The motorcycle training is aimed at all motorcyclists. Whether beginner, returning rider or expert. Anyone who is motivated can improve their riding style through individual training and thus be safer on the road.
Alcohol & drugs
There is an absolute alcohol ban (0.0 per mille). If alcohol, drugs or medication that impairs driving ability are consumed, there is a driving ban for the whole day.
What if someone crashes? Maybe even a friend!
You do not stop on the track. No matter for what reason. Danger to life! There are experienced marshals and possibly the paramedic who take care of everything.
What to do if a faster rider comes or I catch up to a slower one?
During training and possibly also in the races, riders of different speeds can meet. Mutual consideration and particular caution are the order of the day.
Who is responsible and who must be obeyed?
During the entire duration of the event, the instructions of Racetrck and the track manager must be followed without fail.
What about the riders briefing?
We offer at least one riders briefing at every event, where the applicable rules, the daily schedule and any special features are explained. Participation in the riders briefing is MANDATORY! In order to ensure your, our and the safety of all other participants, it is absolutely necessary to observe these rules. If they are not observed or violated, we, Racetrck, are entitled to exclude you from participation in the event. In this case, the entry fee will not be refunded.
