Walldorf – closeness in every form
Best weather for the end of the season and an instructive weekend!

Under this motto, our first Pitbike course at the MSC Walldorf Astoria e.V. started on Friday 12 September 2025! This new format was created in order to cover the consistently strong interest in coaching in the Pitbike sector.
Topics all around the Pitbike, handling and riding technique were on the programme.
Despite repeatedly grey clouds, free riding was able to start punctually at 5 pm, which also took our instructors onto the track. At that point, however, without a Pitbike, because the focus was on identifying possible improvements in the individual participants. And on conveying in a 1:1 debrief what could not already be corrected out on the track by the apex cones we had set up and by our instructors‘ signals.
At 8 pm the first session came to an end, so the evening could wind down with relaxed food and pleasant conversation.

Fresh and well rested, Saturday began at 8 am in dry conditions with morning exercise, followed by breakfast to fuel up for the first sessions. At 10 am, riding could then begin in three groups. Between the individual sessions and instructions, Saturday was interspersed with theory sessions in order to improve the practical implementation. Line choice, flag knowledge and the correct race start were the content of these theory sessions. In the afternoon, many participants had their first start practice – voluntarily, of course! This offer was very well received in the paddock, and so the sequence of a race start with outlap, starting grid, warm-up lap, the race start and the inlap was practised in three groups.
The race simulation ran for 3 laps under the supervision of fully staffed marshals and ended with all marshals waving their flags and applause from the spectators at the trackside.
Afterwards came the review and feedback round. Both participants and team gave consistently positive feedback on the structure and content of the course. In good spirits, the last two hours of riding then followed under the supervision of the marshals. The new E-Pitbikes with the D2G Drop-In were also put through their paces once again! A special thank you once again to MSC Walldorf Astoria for the trust and the pleasant cooperation!
Beyond this first course, we take away very positive feedback and thank all participants for the last outdoor event of 2025. We look forward to welcoming some of you soon at our numerous indoor trainings!
